Workshops

11 am

Rev. William E Ashton, II:  Place-Based Polytheism

How does connecting to gods and spirits of another land, or culture, or time help us to make sense of the challenges we face here-and-now, in today’s world? Join us for a teaching on how place-specific practices link us to the present and help us to create meaning out of our experiences. Connecting to Colorado goes way beyond “native” gods, and local land-wights. Join us to find out how!

This class promises to be engaging, difficult, and will definitely challenge people’s religious paradigm.

Jordan Beard: Why Pagan Pride

A presentation and discussion on the topic of Pagan Pride, what this whole event is about, and where we hope it goes from here. What is the takeaway from Pagan Pride Day? Where does this message fit in on a larger scale? Come participate and let’s talk about it.

2:30 pm

Daniel Percy: Kitchen Witchery – Everyday Magic

Many of us do magic every single day without even realizing it. A presentation and discussion on how magic is a part of our regular lives whether we are Pagan or not. Some may call it prayer, others call it blessings, but whatever the terminology we are all seeking spiritual intervention and connection.

Frigga’s Wisdom Hearth: Vikings – Beyond Battle

Culture has taught us that the Norse were all big, brutish people. From How to Train Your Dragon to For Honor to Vikings, they are presented as pure warrior energy. However, this was not only wrong for the culture at large, but even for the warriors who went off to seek battle and glory. A presentation dispelling some common misconceptions about the Norse culture.

Guest Speaker

Soltahr Tiv-Amanda

Soltahr has been a powerful voice in our community for years and we are very fortunate to have her speaking at our event. She will be at the main stage a little after 2 pm. After which she will hold a Q&A session.
