Celebrating Samhain at the 34th Annual Denver Witches’ Ball

As the autumn air cools and the leaves blanket the ground, Colorado’s magical community prepares for one of its most cherished and longest-standing traditions. The 34th annual Denver Witches’ Ball returns Satruday Octover 24, 2026 Hosted by the Covenant of the River, this public, all-ages gathering offers an enchanting evening rooted in community, remembrance, and celebration as the Wheel of the Year turns toward Samhain.

Whether you have celebrated Samhain for decades or are simply curious to experience the magic for the first time, you are invited to come as you are and join the celebration.

This year’s ball centers around the theme of Sacred Decay. In alignment with the season of Samhain, the evening honors the natural cycles of impermanence, honoring what has passed, and embracing the beauty of release. It’s a powerful time to gather, reflect, and celebrate the mysteries of life, death, and rebirth alongside a welcoming community.

🔮 What to Expect at the Ball

The evening is packed with mystical entertainment, shopping, and spiritual practices running from 5:00 PM to Midnight.

• Live Music & Dancing: Dance the night away with beats from DJ Valnt9 and experience a spellbinding headlining performance by folk-eclectic favorite S.J. Tucker at 9:30 PM.
• The Magickal Marketplace: Browse a fully booked pavilion of talented local artisans, merchants, and makers showcasing unique witchy wares and handmade treasures.
• The Psychic Fair: Seek guidance for the year ahead with intuitive insights from a diverse selection of professional readers.
• Sacred Rituals: Participate in community-focused rituals, culminating in a beautiful, powerful Midnight Ritual that is completely free to attend.
• Food, Drink & Family Fun: Enjoy local food trucks, a costume contest, and family activities. Guests over 21 with a valid ID can also visit the bar for refreshments.
