On the Main Stage

Haley Harkin

Haley was born and raised in Austin, Tx, and is currently residing in Colorado. Surrounded by music most of her life, her roots are in folk, while pushing the edges of creativity. She has described her style as folk medicine music. Others have said her music feels like, ‘bare feet on grass’. Her lyrics express her love for nature, humanity, and her desire to make change. With her sultry sounds and sweet words she will surely touch your heart.

With themes of nature, love and humanity, To Heal Her is texturally layered with soothing acoustic guitar, banjo, saxophone, flute and orchestral strings, with each composition fluidly nestling into the next.

-Westword Magazine

Makaysha Rain

Makaysha is a conscious music artist passionate about making music that invites participants to chant along. Her Kirtan-fusion songs combine uplifting English lyrics with Sanskrit chanting and world music instruments.

Backed by her full band Comic Mantra featuring sitar, tabla and bass, her music ranges from peacefully serene to heart-centered sing-along to up-on-your-feet, danceable beats. Sing with Makaysha to experience the simple joy of chanting and the power of devotion.

Guest Speaker

Sára Rain

Sára Rain is an Interfaith Minister, Founder and President of Sirat-i Inayat Interfaith Sufi Path, a mentor and leader of the Dances of Universal Peace, and a Spiritual Director. She grew up (mostly) in Fort Collins and started working with a Pagan women’s circle in 1993, sharing leadership of ritual, meditation, study, and song. Music as spiritual practice, and tending to the “Sacred Manuscript of Nature” have been at the center of her spiritual life and work. Sára celebrates the beauty and wisdom in all the religious traditions of humanity and invites all compassionate beings to cultivate understanding and friendship along the spiritual path.

Pagan traditions have existed as long as humanity has existed. The wisdom and spiritual practices of earth-centric worship have informed and pervaded all the religions that have arisen through the ages. Seasonal celebrations mark the high holy days. Nature-honoring prayers and rituals shape the spiritual expressions, and the milestones of human life. We find meaning and comfort in the rhythms of the Sun, Moon, tides, and cycles of change. The pantheons of Deities reflect the power forces of the natural world. We follow our hearts’ longings toward the essential Pagan traditions that feel most resonant with our souls, in whatever faith cultures we find ourselves. Sára Rain, a Pagan Priestess and Sufi Minister, will share some teachings, practices, and prayers that highlight the Pagan essence in several religious traditions. Be prepared for a bit of singing, some reverence and maybe a splash of irreverence!

Now we are beginning our third year and have continued our mission to revitalize witchcraft. Our mission to revitalize witchcraft is focused on accepting all modalities of witchcraft. In order we look at the practices of individuals, families, regions, and then centuries. This is in part to respect and decolonize witchcraft in the community. We understand that there are closed practices and those boundaries will be respected. Some information will need to be translated but only so we can better serve our communities. We are inclusive of any sex, all gender expressions, age, ethnicity, race, and witchcraft modality. There is no room for exclusion in the Church of Witchcraft; it is everyone’s duty and the Church’s expection that anyone affiliated will maintain an inclusive approach. There is zero tolerance for exclusivity or gatekeeping. We acknowledge the divine feminine and masculine maintaining the overarching idea that all entities can and often do possess these fundamental qualities.
